Spring Fling
2012
A beautiful day at the Port Penn
Interpretive Center. We saw old friends, caught up on the
latest gossip, and thanked Jean Swan for her help with our
oral history project.

Tree Planting
2010
We enlisted the help of four local
Boy Scout troops and their friends, and some of the Augustine
Beach neighbors as we planted 20 native trees in the picnic
area at Augustine Beach.
Vintage Baseball 2010
The Diamond State Base Ball Team
played, and the fans enjoyed hot dogs, snapping turtle soup
and the music of Crabmeat Thompson.

We were back at the Interpretive
Center this year. We honored Thelma Bendler for her long
participation in the historical society.
Marshland-A-Fare
2009
We met at the Port Penn Firehouse
for snapper soup, baked shad, a silent auction, and lots
of fun.

We had our annual Members' Event
in Stanton at the Hale-byrnes House this year. We enjoyed
some chamber music and Kim Burdick told us about the history
of the house.
