The Port Penn Historical Society has studied the history of Port Penn and explored many topics. Here are some of the projects we have written about.

Reedy Island

Just off to the east of Port Penn, in the Delaware River, lies Reedy Island. Deserted now, at one time it was the home of a quarantine station and a lighthouse. When the quarantine station was closed down several houses were moved from the island to Port Penn and are still in existence.
