The Waterman was commissioned in 2007 by the Port Penn Historical Society by chain saw carver, Jacquin Smolens. The Waterman is displayed on the grounds of DNREC's Port Penn Interpretive Center at the corner of Route 9 and Route 2 (Port Penn Road). This is the second statue he
has carved for the Society.

The finish must cure for a few weeks so look for an installation in early spring 2020.
